Attention Farm Friends,

 

We have temporarily removed organ meats, including liver, tongue, heart and ox tail from our website until we are able to process another cow. The reason we are doing this is that we discovered, quite to our amazement, that our butcher sometimes does not isolate these organ meats from other cows that are brought in to be processed meaning, we cannot be 100% sure that these organ meats that we have been getting all these years have always been ours. So I am sorry to say that this is going to put us out of organ meats for awhile until we take another cow to be processed next month. I am also sorry for the inconvenience and I wish there had been some way that we could have known this but there was no way we even knew to ask since we assumed we always got our own organ meats. 

 

We talked to our butcher in person and he assures us that going forward we can be 100% sure that we will get our organ meats.
