Dear Farm Friends,
Our son David's dear wife, Tina, has gone to be with Jesus. As some of you know, Tina has been struggling with breast cancer and Friday evening around 4pm, she passed quietly from death into life with David at her bedside.
We will miss our sweet daughter-in-love, Christina, but knowing she is with our Saviour makes it bearable. David, along with Willie (10), Ellie (7), and the twins Heidi and Laura (4), are leaning on Jesus and by God's grace are processing how to go forward.
Family and friends have been such a help and we are eternally grateful to all and especially to Tina's parents, Mike and Tabea, who have labored intensely. Our hearts go out to them for having to say goodby to their firstborn at such a young age (36). We all take joy though, in knowing she is at rest with Jesus and one day we will be reunited in
heaven.
If you have never given your life to Christ, all of us here at My Dad & Me Family Farm, would like to encourage you to surrender your heart to Jesus. It doesn't require a priest or a preacher but simply a contrite heart that asks for forgiveness of our sins and the asking of Jesus to come reside in our hearts. The Holy Spirit then indwells us and supplies us
with the power to walk in holiness. Even though we do not accomplish this without failures, we have the power to overcome sin and be assured of a mansion in heaven with Christ when we die.
Most of our farm friends know that our plans have been to end up in Alabama. The passing of Tina will likely mean that we will be selling the farm in the near future. If any of you reading this are interested in purchasing the farm or perhaps know of someone who may be interested, please pass along this information.
The farm is not cheap! It holds great value to those of us wanting to produce our own food and perhaps even make a living through farming. The 5 acres of land is the great value. It has been farmed with organic practices for more than a decade and is extremely fertile. If you are looking for a modern fancy house, this is probably not the property for you. But if you
understand the value of being able to do all of your own food, especially in today's uncertain times, then this may be a fit for you. Email us or message us on Facebook for details and pricing.
To our loyal farm friends, we hope that you will continue to support the farm, as you so faithfully have, for it may not sell for years and who knows someone may choose to continue the Georgia chapter. David and I have even discussed making trips from Alabama to a drop point in Georgia for our loyal Georgia farm friends.
I am sorry to be so scattered, but we really do not know what the future will be but we do know who holds the future!
