Susan and I are excited to announce that we will be offering a co-op from our farm in Alabama. We have had the opportunity to mention this to many of our farm friends and have had lots of positive feedback. We have already begun the process of setting this in motion. Of course, the Georgia farm will remain
open until it sells but the day it closes, we will begin bringing over items from our Alabama farm.
Our hope is that all of our wonderful farm friends will be able to continue to get healthy, wholesome food from My Dad & Me Family Farm.
Please follow our emails closely, for we will be turning over the details of the co-op to Melissa Horton, who is already running our Birmingham Co-op. She has done a fabulous job and is ready to implement the details of our continued Georgia sales.
Macland Baptist Church, on the corner of Macland Rd. and Gus Robinson, has already given us permission to
use their parking lot for a meeting place. We will be offering orders online with the ability to pay electronically in advance of pickups.
In the next few days, we will be listing our farm for sale. We will not be selling the business but the property will be offered as a homestead. On April 15th, we will begin
showing the farm. If any of our farm friends are interested, please call or email us and we will get you the details.
Susan and I have had a wonderful 18 years here, but it is time for us to move on to Alabama where we can assist David with his four little ones. Thank you all for your understanding
and we welcome all of our dear farm friends to sign up for our Georgia Co-op. Susan will be providing a sign up sheet in the store, so please ask her about this. We would love to know approximately how many of our farm friends are interested in staying with us.
We sincerely hope that we can continue to serve all of you as we have had the privilege to do for the last 15 years.
