Soon we will be doing a store expansion very similar to the one we did in GA. One nice bonus is our new store in AL has a bathroom! We would love for any of our new farm friends to come see our new farm even if your plans are to order through one of our co-ops. It sure would be nice to meet you, talk a little "Home Steading" and get to know you in person!
Anna has been very busy getting us settled in and looking after Heidi and Laura who spend most of their inside time under Anna's feet. Heidi and Laura said that Anna was their new favorite momma. Granny (Susan) is
second. Even though this breaks our hearts we are glad that they have some female stability again. The Lord always makes a way even when there seems to be no way.
For those of you that have been patiently waiting for chocolate bars to return to the store menu, Anna will be back in the kitchen soon! We had to wait 30 days before we could get into the new house so we are still moving in between daily chores. This has kept Anna very busy. Serve up a bowl of creamy yogurt and the chocolate bars will be returning soon!
Susan is helping David coordinate milk and egg sales, doing endless bookwork so the IRS can have a happy camping experience and talking with many of you on the phone or in the store. Oh, by the way, our new phone
number is 256-492-7066. Call us or better yet come see us. We sure miss our weekly visits with so many of our faithful farm friends!
David oversees milkings and makes sure the cows get a new paddock of fresh greens every 12 hours. Willie and Ellie have become vital farm hands. Willie is quite the dairyman and Ellie, his faithful sidekick, is an excellent milk maid.
