Saturday is Broiler Pick-up Day for all of our farm friends that ordered chickens for November 16th. When you receive this email please confirm with an email back to us that you will be here between 4:00pm and 5:30pm to pick up your birds this Saturday. Please remember to bring your coolers and freezer bags. This is our final processing of the year, in fact, we stretched things a little bit to be running birds in this freezing weather! We did a little weather proofing to the chicken tractors to keep the wind and rain off of the birds and so far, all is well.  The new chicken tractor design we tried this year worked great to keep the birds cool when it was hot outside but still have plenty of protection from wind and rain.
