Hello Farm Friends,
We still have some of the organic tomato plants available. They are $2.50 each. Just come on up on the back porch; we have them on a table there with directions as to how to get what you want. If you need some help, feel free to ring the bell. We'll be glad to assist you.
Also, if anyone would like cow manure with wood shavings either by the bag or the
tractor bucket scoop, we still have that available as well. Email us and let us know what you would like and we'll go ahead and get however many bags you want bagged up and ready to go. This is fresh cow manure, not composted, but this is what we use in our gardens each year. Mix it in thoroughly and it makes fantastic veggies! It is $5 a bag and $25 for a tractor bucket scoop.
We have approximately 15 broiler chickens left for the May 17 processing day. If
you have not gotten in your order yet, stop by the farm and fill out a broiler order form or you can mail us a deposit. ($10 per bird deposit, $5.50/lb.) These are the new Freedom Rangers and this is the very best chicken you can get. They are on pasture being fed non-GMO, organic, soy-free feed. They taste fantastic!
The cows are beginning to graze the beautiful, green, rye grass that we planted over the winter. This is the time of year that produces the
highest quality milk that you can get. Of course, that means the butter that you make with your cream, the yogurt, and the kefir are of the highest quality as well. This is the time to be sluggin' the milk!
Midnight finally had five beautiful kittens! They are all shades of gray and we will start taking deposits for them. (They are $30 each) It will be 6-8 weeks before they are ready to leave mama. If you would like to reserve one, just email
us.
