We are enjoying some of the most beautiful tomatoes we have ever grown and they are coming in prolifically! So we are offering them this Friday and Saturday (today & tomorrow) only at half price for a "canner's special". We are going to set up a table on the back porch with lots of juicy red tomatoes and a scale for weighing. Feel free to pick out what you want, weigh them, and enjoy some

My Dad & Me Farm is now offering organic, non-GMO popcorn, polenta, grits and cornmeal from Riverview Farms (our beef & pork supplier). We had some grits for breakfast and they were wonderful. We also popped some of the popcorn Sunday evening and it was very light, fluffy, and delicious. It is fantastic to have a source for good corn items.
For those of you who are not
familiar with polenta, join the crowd, we are not either! It is a courser grind of corn than grits and if you want to know how to cook it, don't ask me. I guess we are going to have to get Anna to search the internet and teach us how to prepare this new polenta.
The grits and the polenta come in a one pound bag and are $8 per bag. The cornmeal and the popcorn are in a two pound bag and they are $8 a bag as well. Come on by the farm and try some organic corn
goodies!
David and Susan and I spent the wee hours of the morning picking sweet corn. It looks like we have plenty to get us through the weekend but that will be the bulk of it. As most of you know sweet corn comes in all at the same time. So, don't delay to pick up some sweet corn while it lasts.
