Anna is unveiling her Cashew Date Fudge Bar today. Most of us are aware that chocolate, in it's purest form, is extremely good for you, but the sweeteners that are used to make it palatable are what make it unhealthy. I gave Anna the challenge to come up with a healthy chocolate bar to satisfy her father's cravings for dark, rich chocolate. Her latest creation will hit the back porch
today and Anna will be offering free samples for the next week or so. Come on by the farm and try out Anna's new Cashew Date Fudge Bars! They are absolutely wonderful and made with only the finest organic ingredients and no refined sugars at all, only pure whole dates. This bar is also gluten-free!
We have been extremely blessed with a wonderful crop of tomatoes this year. We have canned 160 quarts and the vines are still producing enormous amounts of juicy naturally grown tomatoes. My Dad & Me will be offering a Super Canner's Special
starting today. Anyone purchasing 10 pounds of tomatoes or more will get them for $1 a pound! This is a fantastic time to stock up and can, dry, or freeze some tomatoes to last you till next year. No need to eat those winter greenhouse tomatoes that taste like cardboard. Come on by and stock up today!
It is time to be prepping for your fall garden and we still have some cow manure available. We have it at $5 for a 50 pound bag or $25 for a tractor bucket scoop. If you would like some bagged, please email us and we will have it ready for you when you
get here. If you would like a scoop or two, please call in advance to make sure we are here to load it for you. We have had some great testimonials this year from those who purchased cow manure and used it to liven up their spring garden! The manure from the farm is full of life unlike the store bought amendments that are completely dead.
