My Dad & Me Family Farm is located in the middle of 1,000 acres that make up the historic McEachern Farms. This area has been protected by Cobb County Commissioners in order to allow residents to continue to have small farms and enjoy a slower paced, outdoor life.

   Our serenity is coming under fire by a developer that wants to put in a sports park that adjoins McEachern Farms. The community is seeking to fight back to oppose SLUP 19 and encourage the developer to build out his property as it is zoned which is R-80. (Two acre lots.)

   We are asking that all 2600 of our farm friends please sign this petition (click here). This will protect the McEachern Farms area and keep My Dad & Me operating as it has been for nearly a decade.

   Thank you for your attention to this very important issue. Tuesday, October 7th at 9am at 100 Cherokee Street 2nd floor (Marietta Square) there will be a meeting and those in opposition will be allowed to be counted. If there is any way you can make it to this meeting, that would be greatly appreciated. Then, on October 21st at 9am, same location, they will vote on the re-zoning.
