Fermenting Class at the Farm

Hello Farm Friends,


~Saturday, June 14, from 11am to 3pm We will be hosting a fermenting foods class at the farm.

~The class will be taught by Lyn Adler who has been a long time member of the farm and a long time preparer of fermented foods. 

~The class will be $45 per person and will include one quart jar of organic lacto fermented kraut for each farm friend participant to make and take home.

~My Dad & Me will serve Anna's bars as a snack.

~We will also be taste testing My Dad & Me's new sourdough, created by Tina, Leah and Anna. (It's wonderful!)

~ Participants will have the option to purchase extra quart jars of fermented kraut or carrots for $15 a quart (when you sign up please give us some indication as to how many extra jars you would be interested in purchasing so that we will have plenty of cabbage and carrots on hand). 

We would like to say a word of thanks to Lyn Adler for agreeing to teach this class. Fermented foods are an item that we are desperately missing in our diets and we appreciate Lyn for sharing her knowledge and skill with us.

This class will be for adults only and will be limited to 15-18 individuals. So if you would like to join us send us an email and we will sign you up. (Please send a $20 deposit either through the mail or you can stop by the farm and leave a check.)
