Monday from 9am to 12pm we will be opening up the blackberry patch for U-Pick. The berries are $6 a pound at the U-Pick price. If you would like to come and pick some berries, please email us first because we will need to limit the number that we have come to the farm. The berries are big and juicy! We have some in clamshells in the egg refrigerator and also in the brown milk fridge freezer compartment.

My Dad & Me Farm has 25 two-year old Black Austrolorp laying hens for sale. This is a flock of hens that an older gentleman friend of ours had and he no longer can care for them. They have been raised and fed conventional feed (not organic). They are laying and we will be selling them for $12 each or $10 each if you purchase all 25. The Black Austrolorp is an exceptional layer of a nice large brown egg and they are very docile and friendly birds. Email us if you are interested in some laying hens.

Sweet corn is just starting to trickle in. In fact, we ate some for breakfast and it was crunchy and sweet and delicious! We are anticipating some of it being ready for sale this Saturday - four ears for $5.

We have a few Freedom Ranger Broilers left for the July 26 processing day. If you have not gotten in your order, you can either email us your order or stop by the farm. Also, if anyone would like to volunteer to help process chickens on July 26, it is a great opportunity to learn as well as have a great time with like-minded folks! Email us and we'll sign you up.
