Hello Farm Friends, So far
this year, we've had everything from warm, balmy weather that made us think it was spring to frigidly, freezing weather that made us quickly realize that winter is still in charge for a little while longer. We are thankful that although we've had some rain (which makes winter cow management more difficult) it's not been nearly as wet as some previous years. Right now we have plenty of Extra Milk available. There is usually some in the first milk fridge, but if you'd like to reserve some, just send us an e-mail and we'll put your name on it. using extra milk. Starting tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 29th, My Dad & Me Family Farm will be
selling Peppy Pepitas. These are Organic Raw Pumpkin Seeds that we have soaked and dehydrated to make them healthier. God designed raw seeds to have enzyme inhibitors that protect the seed until it's the right time to sprout and grow. These inhibitors make it difficult for us to digest and therefore impossible for our bodies to absorb all the wonderful nutrients from the seeds. Soaking in water triggers the seed to think it's time
to grow and thereby breaks down these enzyme inhibitors. Our Peppy Pepitas will be available in Mild or Hot. They make a great, crunchy & healthy treat or snack to munch on between meals or on the go, so don't forget to grab a jar on your next visit.
