Milk, Lettuce, and Blue Cheese Dressing

Published: Fri, 09/25/15

Hello Farm Friends,

With Juliet finally settling in to her new lactation, she is producing lots of extra milk for us. If you have been waiting to get on the milk list or if you'd just like to pick up some extra from the "A" fridge, this weekend would be a great time to come on by the farm. The rain is such a blessing and everything is growing beautifully.

Our salad greens are absolutely beautiful this year. Susan has picked a boat-load of greens and they are waiting for you in the egg refrigerator. Pick up a pack of raw milk cheese, grate it real fine and enjoy it over your salad. I like to add a liberal amount of blue cheese dressing and a few croutons. What a salad!

We are on the countdown for pastured, organic, non-GMO, soy-free fed hens that produce the most amazing eggs. October should bring the first of the pullet eggs and over the next few weeks that follow, the eggs should increase in size. Stay tuned!! In the meantime, pick up some of Anna's maple syrup granola to enjoy for breakfast. Sometimes, I eat it for lunch :)
See you this weekend at the farm,

Daniel, Susan, & Anna
David, Tina, Willie, & Ellie
