Hello Farm Friends,

   We have a few Stewing Hens available for pre-order.  These are the crockpot hens that make great bone broth ~ they are NOT broiler meat chickens, instead they are old laying hens that have the increased minerals in their bones.  If you've been waiting to make bone broth, this is your opportunity.  These will be the last stewing hens we will do this year.

   These hens are $20 each and will be ready for pick-up on Wednesday, October 14th.  To reserve one or more hens, simply reply to this e-mail with your name and the number of hens you would like to reserve.  Pick-up time will be between 4:00 & 5:30pm.  Please bring your cooler and a freezer bag for each hen you ordered.
