Broiler Chicken Pick Up This Saturday Please Confirm

Hello Farm Friends,

   

  This Saturday, October 24th, is Broiler Pick-up Day, please respond to this email with a confirmation that you will be here between 4pm and 5:30pm. Don't forget to bring your freezer bags along with your cooler. We still need one more volunteer to help us clean birds Saturday. If you are available and would like to lend a hand, email us and we will sign you up. Volunteers receive one free Freedom Ranger broiler chicken along with a lesson in processing your own chicken :)

   Susan, Anna and Tina have teamed up and are putting together various new products for the farm. Some of you may have noticed the Einkorn Sourdough Pizza Crust in the milk refrigerator's freezer compartment. David and I have been relentlessly testing these new pizzas and can say beyond a shadow of doubt, the girls have reached perfection. Don't forget to pick up a little sausage and raw milk cheese along with your pizza crust and enjoy healthy pizza without MSG :) 
   Saturday, Susan will be introducing a new Einkorn Pancake Mix. All you have to do is add milk and they are ready to throw on the griddle. This is a great mix because the Einkorn affords people with gluten sensitivities to enjoy grain again and what better way to have grain than to enjoy pancakes with a little butter and maple syrup! 

  If you have not tried our new Iberian Artisan Sea Salt, pick up a bag on the back porch. It is extremely high quality and still in it's natural form. It has not been tampered with like most of your grocery store salt. Chef Louis, who is providing us with this wonderful mineral filled product, is putting together a website to better educate us farm friends as to the health benefits of high quality salt.

  Veggies of the day include: arugula, lettuce, swiss chard, beets, radishes, kale, and turnip greens.
