Hello Farm Friends,
My Dad & Me Family Farm is expanding! Our Georgia location will continue to serve our farm friends here in Powder Springs. Our "new farm" will provide for the Hokes Bluff community in Alabama. David and Tina along with Susan and I went over Friday and closed on 62 of the most beautiful acres we have ever seen! Our plans are for David and Tina to get
things going in Alabama, along with Willie and Ellie, of course. This new farm will offer support for My Dad & Me Georgia by allowing us to make more eggs, as well as grass-fed beef and pastured pork. With over 30 acres of grass and two farm ponds, we will be much better equipped to grow and raise healthy, sustainable, and delicious food. Presently, Susan, Anna and I will continue to manage My Dad & Me Georgia. We have a dear farm friend that is interested in purchasing the farm and the good
news is she plans on continuing to milk cows and raise laying hens for all of the local folks here. So whether we stay or go, the farm will remain open! Don't forget to try some of Susan and Anna's pancakes with their new Einkorn Pancake Mix as well as Einkorn
Sourdough Pizza Crust! I made myself a pizza with one of the crusts yesterday and topped it with the Swiss Cheese and it was the best I've had yet. Pick up some sausage, swiss cheese, and a pizza crust and you've got the makings for a quick, healthy meal all in one!
