Our meat chickens are fed only Certified
Organic, Soy-free, GMO-free Chicken Feed (from New Country Organics). They are raised on pasture in portable pens where they eat grass & bugs and scratch in the dirt as a chicken should. Freedom Ranger Broiler Chickens are a cross between four breeds and this (along with being pastured) produces a much more delicious bird than a standard commercial meat chicken!
As you may have recently heard, the law which requires the country of origin be placed on the label of the meat you buy at a grocery store has been repealed.
If you can't raise your own food, it's getting more and more important to find a local farmer that you can trust and support them!
