Hello Farm Friends, Ten years ago we purchased our first milk cow, Maggie.....
Today we have 30 Jersey cows and own farms in both Georgia and Alabama. Each new year seems to
expand our horizon. This past week, in Alabama, we had two of our Jersey girls, Phoebe and Rose,
deliver calves on the same day! Say "Hello" to Phil and Nestle! This was a first for My Dad & Me Family Farm. In fact, we are due to have four more calves in the next six weeks, so the milk should be flowing abundantly. Come on by for fresh milk! My Dad & Me
Farm will be looking for additional farm members with all the "extra milk" so we will begin offering a referral bonus. If any of our farm friends send someone to us and they join the farm, our farm friend will receive a $25 gift certificate to My Dad and Me Family Farm as a referral bonus to obtain any farm goodies they please.
Susan and Anna will be starting up their "Country Education" classes on Saturdays again. The next class will
be:
Yogurt, Kefir, & Butter Class
Saturday, February 4th, 2017 @ 11:00am
The class should be around one and a half to two hours
long. Classes are $10 per person and are offered free to all Platinum and Gold members. Email Susan to reserve a spot and bring along a friend.
We just got some more Hot Dogs, Bratwurst, Sweet Italian, and Apple Maple Sausages. I guess I'm a little crazy, but I love a good, healthy chili dog as much as a fine steak. The new sausages and dogs seem to be a big
hit!
David and Willie cranked up a fire in the
fireplace, sharpened up their hot dog sticks, and smoked themselves a delicious dinner on a stick. Try it with the kids as an "indoor cookout!"
We are so glad to have a low heat pasteurized, organic, grass fed Butter to be able to offer to all of our farm friends. Susan has it stocked in the egg refrigerator, so give it a try.
Also, Susan's grain free Chocolate Chip Cookies and her Brownie Mix are growing in popularity. Try some on your next visit to
