Hello Farm Friends,
When everything you hold dear to life is within your grasp! ~Your trusty naptime blankie. ~Your
favorite ragdoll companion, "Ohweeahh". ~Your faithful sucking thumb. ~Your adored kitty cat, Pickles. (No, the cat
isn't dead nor dying, just enjoying being pampered by her favorite "little person.") ~Along with a godly home and loving parents (and grandparents!). At around 1am Tuesday morning, our son-in-law, Michael, called to say that Leah was in labor. They were planning a home birth
and Susan was slated to provide moral support. We loaded our minivan and headed to Michael and Leah's new home in White, GA excited about ushering in the birth of our eighth grandchild.
We reached our destination around 2am
only to discover that Megan Audrey Warrak had arrived ahead of us having little concern that her Granny (Susan) wanted desperately to be present for the occasion. The frustration of being late to Megan's first birthday party subsided quickly once mother and daughter shared a tearful hug. What a blessing from the Lord!
Born April 5th at 1:53am, weighing in at 8lbs 5oz and 20 inches long, with a head full of black hair! The cows are enjoying the fresh spring grass. This is the time of
year that we all need to be guzzling the milk. The nutrients in this super springtime milk is off the charts. It is a fantastic way to strengthen your immune system against the many toxins we all struggle to avoid.
We are very fortunate to have plenty of milk right now, so if you would like to increase your order or if you've been waiting to come join us, now is a great opportunity. The organically fed, pastured eggs are coming in strong now, so grab some of our delicious raw milk cheese along with a dozen eggs and enjoy a nice black skillet omelette!
The May 27th processing date for chicken is sold out. We are now taking orders for June 17th. David and
Tina are raising these on our beautiful pastures in Etowah County. David supplements their forage with New Country Organics non GMO, soy free feed. This is really tasty chicken and really good for you as well. If you've not ordered chicken from us before we would love for you to come join us here at My Dad & Me Family Farm.
For those of you that have not noticed, we now have some delicious Kielbasa along with our Bratwurst and Italian sausages. If you haven't tried our hot dogs it is a great time to fire up the grill and smoke some tube steaks.
To all of our cherished farm friends, we would like to say a special word of appreciation. We have been farming now for approximately a decade and our success is due to your loyalty to come and purchase our products each week. I know of late there are farmers that are struggling immensely, some
have even gone out of business, and so understanding the difficult times, it makes us so thankful to have such a loyal group. Thank you to each and every one of you for choosing My Dad & Me Family Farm. See you soon at the farm,
Daniel, Susan, & Anna David, Tina, Willie, & Ellie
