Hello Farm Friends, The farm is exploding! The front garden has been sitting fallow for a year and is ready for spring planting. My Dad & Me Family Farm has lots of organically grown plant starts. We have some wonderful Juliet Grape tomato plants, Early Girls, Big Beef, Beauty and some Romas. We also have some Zucchini, Yellow Squash, Spaghetti Squash and
Cucumber plants. Now is the time to start putting in your vegetable gardens. The Front Garden nearly ready for vegetables. Hannah Kate and Grandaddy finishing up the plowing. Ten little piggies were born today at our farm in Alabama! There's nothing cuter than baby piglets and these little American Guinea hogs are precious.

Mama has a smile on her face for a job well
done. Willie enjoying one of the
piglets! The Alabama farm is greening up beautifully! The asparagus bed here in Georgia is doing exceptionally well this year. Susan and I eat it every morning for breakfast and most evenings
for dinner! There is plenty in the fridge for our farm friends too! Hannah Kate making sure Grandaddy is doing the garden just right! We have fresh kale, swiss chard and cabbage and soon this lettuce bed will be ready to be turned into a wonderful salad. Plenty of plant
starts ready for our farm friend's gardens. The Muscadines, Blackberries and Grapes are all budding out, preparing to set their fruit buds for the new year. What a blessing from the
Lord. A land flowing with milk and honey. Plants are located on our new walkway as you enter the back porch. Mini-ball is hiding in the Hardy Kiwi. Hardy Kiwi has a catnip effect when the vines are scratched so cats can hardly resist
them. The apple blossoms are always beautiful and remind us of the blessing of fruit soon to come. My Dad & Me vineyards and blackberries. Our new entrance to the back porch. Susan and I planting the first tomatoes. The Iris's are gorgeous this year. The purple blossoms are quite striking. Susan helping Joshua "help" us in the gardens. Joshua assisting Grandad in getting the rows good and straight. Hannah loves her brother but is not quite sure of his hammering skills! The Jersey girls are loving the spring grass! Jim loves his six Jersey girls. My Dad & Me Farm milking barn and loafing shed. Jim has learned to close the gate all by himself. He enjoys trapping the girls out just because he
can. The first thing I see when I go to work every morning. Life is tough! Hannah is doing her part to make these farm kitties well loved. We have four kitties left for sale for anyone that is interested. We love our farm friends!
See you soon at the
farm,
Daniel, Susan, & Anna David, Tina, Willie, & Ellie |
