Hello Farm Friends,

   The Lord has blessed David and Tina, along with Grandad and Granny, with two precious little black headed girls. Heidi JoAnn was born first on October 9th and weighed in at 6 lb 8 oz, followed by her baby sister, Laura Rose, who weighed 6 lb 4.5 oz.

   We apologize for getting the word out so late but all of us have been putting in approximately 17 hours a day for the last 10 days. It is quite the experience to milk the cows at 6am in Georgia then drive two hours to Alabama and milk the cows there, then do chores all day in Alabama and milk the cows one more time before you leave, close the laying hens up at dusk, drive back to Georgia and milk the cows one more time and if everything goes smoothly, climb in the bed just before midnight. Four milkings, covering two states and one heck of a long day!  And these two girls are worth every minute of it!
