Hello Farm Friends, We received a fresh batch of breakfast sausage yesterday. Anna loves to take the sausage and some of our new cheeses and make the most wonderful sausage balls. It makes for a great fast food breakfast. Anna mixes them up, rolls them out and then freezes them. She then simply pulls them from the freezer and puts them in the
toaster oven for breakfast. That's when I scarf them up!
We have some additional cheeses from our new gourmet cheese maker. Last week we told you about the Gruyere and Gouda cave cheeses. This week we have Tomme, Monterey Jack, Peppercorn Cheddar, Chive and Dill and a delicious Olive Muffaletta. A mixed cheese tray is a great
snack for Thanksgiving.
For those of you who have been waiting on steaks, we now have an assortment of grass fed beef and steaks. If you do not see what you are
looking for in the freezer, ring the bell and we will be glad to check the back stock for what you are desiring.
This is such a cute picture that one of our long standing customers, Allyson Haygood, sent to us a while back. She made some delicious
sausage balls with the My Dad & Me sausage and cheese. However, we don't suggest that you torture your pets unless you plan on sharing :) I'm sure, that Spencer Haygood was kind enough to allow his best friend, Elsa at least a small smackerel of one of his delicious sausage balls.
Stop by and pick up some fresh sage and organic, stone ground corn meal for your Thanksgiving dressing! Happy Thanksgiving
everyone! See you soon at the farm,
Daniel, Susan, & Anna David, Tina, Willie, & Ellie
