Hello Farm Friends,

   Our three new cows, Audrey, Anna and Ashley, are really helping out with much needed extra milk. So we have plenty of extra today in the first milk refrigerator. Susan also has instruction sheets on how to make your own raw milk yogurt and it is really quite simple to do.  She also can supply you with the best tasting yogurt culture to get you started. Your family will love this yogurt!​​​​​​​

    The girls have also made a fresh batch of delicious Chocolate Chip Brownie Mix. If you haven't tried them they sure go great with a cold glass of milk. ​​​​​​​

  We have some wonderful new raw milk cheeses. Susan has just stocked up so take advantage of this grass fed, organic, artisanal raw milk cheese. My Dad & Me Family Farm strives to produce and source the very highest quality products and we appreciate all of our farm friends that come by each week and support our efforts both here in Powder Springs, Georgia and in Hokes Bluff, Alabama.

    The extremely cold days have most of the chickens on strike. Egg laying typically wanes during the winter because chickens are not trying to raise young during the cold months but when the temperatures get as cold as it has been of late, the laying all but stops. Eggs are in short supply. This is a great time to try Anna's granola for breakfast. I think it is the best granola period and it is made with all organic ingredients!
