Hello Farm Friends,

   It is a beautiful Saturday this first day of June. We have sure hit the hot summer temperatures, whew! We are praying for some rain to grow the gardens and the grass. It looks like maybe next week will bring some rain...

     A cool salad sure sounds good when it is this hot. Anna made us one last night and it was so refreshing. We have lots of nice lettuce coming in for a crunchy, crisp salad. The kale and beet greens are doing well too. There is some spicy Arugula for a kick in that salad.

     Another "cool" meal for the summer is Granola. We love it smothered in yogurt or milk with raisins and nuts added.

      So, come on out to the farm for some granola, greens, cheese, meat for your grill etc.
