Dear Farm Friends,
The refrigerators and freezers are running over! We have some nice Chickens in the meat freezer that we have processed along with some delicious Bacon, Boston Butts, Pork Chops and plenty of grass fed Ground Beef. We have lots of fresh Milk today and some beautiful Marconi Red Peppers, Okra and Tomatoes for your BLT's.
I thought our Farm Friends might enjoy seeing all that is going on at My Dad & Me Alabama location. David and Tina, Willie, Ellie, Heidi and Laura are doing a fantastic job in supporting the Georgia farm with lots of goodies that they are growing and raising on our 62 acres in Hokes Bluff, Alabama.
My brother John and David and I have been working for the last year building a new parlor in Alabama and here is David's email introducing that to his farm friends in our neighboring state.
We have some exciting news to share with you. Our new milking parlor and pour-up room are now in operation! We are so happy to have a dedicated space to milk the cows and then filter & chill the milk. We are also making the yogurt batches in the pour-up room as well. It's a dream to wash the large milk totes, milking bucket, and yogurt pot in the
extra spacious, double-bowl sink. Sometimes we want to pinch ourselves to make sure we're not actually dreaming! ;-) We are so thankful for all the help from Grandaddy, Granny, Anna, and Uncle John to make this all possible! Check out these recent photos.....

Fresh, creamy, full-fat, wholesome, delicious, 100% grass-fed, raw milk from happy cows..... now where can you go to find that? Right here at our Farm Store! We've had several calves born in the last month, and therefore, we have PLENTY of extra milk right now.

You may have noticed we are now stocking Multi-top Lids that are a must-have if you pour milk from a half gallon jar. Not only are they leak-proof, but they also allow you to pour from a very full jar without spilling so much as a drip. The flip lid stays up and out of the way by itself for easy pouring. We are impressed with these lids and use them all the
time in our kitchen. We hope that they will make your life less messy as well.
