Hello Farm Friends,
What wonderful weather we are having! We are certainly glad for the heat wave to end. Now that the hot weather has abated, we have been planting our fall vegetables like collards, kale and cabbage to name a few. Now we are praying for some rain to get them going. We can water with the hose all day long but rain from heaven will do so much more for the garden.
We are excited to announce that our first two eggs from the new flock were laid this week! We'll have small eggs to start with and they will
increase in size over the next month or so.
With the cool down in weather, the cows are producing a little more milk. We have extra milk today. Just call or email so that Susan can
reserve some for you.
There are four adorable black kittens available: two boys and two girls, ready to cuddle with you and entertain you with their
antics. They will be 8 weeks old around Oct. 18th and they are $30 each. Call us to set up a time to see them or just come on by and cuddle them and let one pick you!
