Good Morning Farm Friends!
It's a great day for a warm batch of Chocolate Chip Cookies and a glass of fresh, cold Jersey Cows milk. After all, you can't have cookies without milk. Our Chocolate Chip Cookie dough is a simple recipe of select, high quality organic ingredients. We created this recipe especially for
our farm friends with food sensitivities. We make it with almond flour, coconut oil, maple syrup and 100% cocoa chocolate chips- no eggs, no grain, no dairy, no refined sugar!
This cookie dough may be for those who cannot have grains or dairy, but around here it
has become the chosen dessert for those of us without dietary restrictions. Not many weekends come and go without a batch of these popped into the oven on Friday or Saturday evening. Bake time is simple. These cookies lend themselves to a crunchier finish. The maple syrup caramelizes with the almond flour giving it a snappy texture. So if you forget them in the oven for a few extra minutes (not that we would know from experience) it's not a problem! For the die hard gooey chocolate chip
cookie fan, they can be taken out a little early for a chewy center.
