Hello Farm Friends,
Do you have enough "culture" in your life? Kefir is a great way to get some! Kefir contains several major strains of friendly bacteria and beneficial yeasts that help eliminate destructive pathogenic yeasts in the body. It helps you digest foods and keeps your colon clean and healthy.
Kefir is very simple to make. It ferments at room temperature in 24 to 48 hours on your kitchen counter. Susan has kefir grains to share along with instruction sheets to help you get started. We also have a nice hand out with more information about this amazing food. Be sure to get one when you come to the farm.
We have plenty of milk this weekend if you are ready to get started!
