Farm Store is Open Once Again for Business and Three New Jersey Girls

Hello Farm Friends,

For all of our dear Farm Friends that are comfortable with doing their own shopping inside the store, as of 12pm Friday, May 1st, we will be opening up the doors once again and welcoming our Farm Friends inside! Thank you all for your patience and devoted patronage of the farm during these trying times. Store hours: Monday through Saturday 5am to midnight. Always closed on Sunday.

For those that are not ready to resume their own shopping, we will be glad to gather your order for you as we have been doing for the last few weeks. Just give us a ring when you get here! Hours for back porch pick up: Monday through Saturday 8am to 8pm. Always closed on Sunday.

My Dad & Me is thrilled to welcome it's newest bovine members to the farm. Kiwi, Bumbles and Sparkles made the trip down from Indiana Monday to join our Georgia herd of Jerseys. All three are in milk and settling in to the new milking parlor.

If you have been craving 100% grass fed, rich and creamy, registered Jersey milk, we now have Extra available for all of our loyal Farm Friends. If you would like to come join us, we would be pleased to welcome you to the farm as well!

Bumbles is a first calf heifer. She is spirited and loving all wrapped into one. She is losing her northern winter fur and is adjusting well to her new home in the deep south.

Sparkles is giving the most abundant milk of the three. She is sturdy, compact and very gentle and has just had her third calf.

Kiwi is a creamy chocolate coated Jersey with excellent confirmation. She has a nice slender neck with a small head and a beautiful udder. She recently had her third calf as well.

This alpaca muscled her way into the Bovine pictures for no apparent reason. Evidently the coronavirus has kept her from her appointment with the hairdresser!

The best thing about coming to the Georgia farm is Granny lets you feed the goats for free!

Willie takes care of a lot of animals in Alabama but he doesn't have goats so he is enjoying getting to know Holly and Ivy.

I think the kids are enjoying the goat house as much as Holly and Ivy.
