Hello Farm Friends,
The girls, Susan and Anna, have brought back those good old fashioned roasted peanuts. You know, the kind that are drenched in real butter and gently salted with the finest sea salt and then slowly roasted in the oven all the while being hand stirred with a wooden spoon (hand carved by our oldest son, David) to insure vintage perfection. I can personally testify to
the fact that these are delicious!
Susan and Anna have packed them in a resealable bag so you can eat some now and save some for later. Or you can do like I do and just eat them all in one
sitting.
Fresh popcorn out of the field, dried, cleaned and ready for the kettle. Don't forget to pick up some of Anna's Popcorn Seasoning to top it off.
Susan has plenty of bacon in the pork freezer along with sausage, Boston Butts and Ribs.
The girls are very sociable creatures, as long as you don't step out of the pecking order and get yourself body slammed by the lead cow! If you do tow the line, then you receive preening for your submissive
actions.
Heidi and Laura can't seem to get enough of the new calves and the calves don't seem to mind the loving attention.
